For the director of music. A psalm of David.
1 The king rejoices in your strength, Lord.
How great is his joy in the victories you give!
2 You have granted him his heart’s desire
and have not withheld the request of his lips.
3 You came to greet him with rich blessings
and placed a crown of pure gold on his head.
4 He asked you for life, and you gave it to him--
length of days, for ever and ever.
5 Through the victories you gave, his glory is great;
you have bestowed on him splendor and majesty.
6 Surely you have granted him unending blessings
and made him glad with the joy of your presence.
HEART'S DESIRE ~
God's knows what is best for each of us. I have found the joy of life even in the worst times of life. I wasn't always this way. I have grown over the years by reading, studying, staying connected at church and keeping my mindset on God. Doing what is right in life isn't always easy. We learn from situations and we can become better or bitter. That's one of my favorite saying because it's so true. Letting of what we can't change is valuable.
God does hear your prayers and knows the desires of your heart. He wants the best for you, but he also guards your heart from things down the road. Maybe like a child wanting to ride a bike. It a nice bike and they have on a helmet to protect their head, but the crash happens. It was being off balance just a bit and then consequences come from the accident. God wants us to balance out our thoughts an our actions too. Staying in prayer, keep us close to him. Staying in praise, shows him our worship. So many changes can happen in one day.
Purpose this day a good day. This is the day that the Lord has made and you can rejoice in it. It is mindset as Romans 12:1-2 states. Set your mind on positive and watch what a difference one day can be. Keeping a negative thought pattern only upsets you and makes your miserable. Go ahead and trust God and stop to look around you. You might have many things you just take for granted. A warm house, clothes, food, running water, hot water and the list goes on.
I care about the readers of my blog, your familiy and friends. My prayers continue daily and I thank you for taking the time to plant a little hope and joy today.
