Calling up the positive person inside of me

Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have,because God has said,
“Never will I leave you;
never will I forsake you.”
6 So we say with confidence,
“The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me?”
MY LIFE MATTERS ~
As I become confident in who I am in God, I see how one life makes a difference. My influence on someone else is important and so is yours. I met yesterday with a friend named Laura. We talked about life and the importance of one day. We never know who watches our lives and our example is far more important than we might realize. I began to tell her what her kindness means to me. Some people thinks it's easy to be nice to me because I'm nice to them. There are other people who don't feel that way at all towards me. I have come to the conclusion that God wants us to do the right thing. Our view point matters and our reaction matters too.
Verse 6 above speaks of The Lord is my helper....
I will not be afraid.......
Our mindset is valuable and just knowing that God is my helper is huge. God uses my life and others share hope back to me. It's a totally two ways street. We can meet people coming and going in life. We need connections of other people. We can learn and grow from others experiences. I've been broken and sad in life. I didn't really understand how God could make a hard situation better, but he does. Living by faith and not sight in so many areas of life.

Think about what can go right
Thanksgiving time is known for bringing families together. People travel by cars, trains, and planes to get to their destination for Thanksgiving time. At many locations people will be giving thanks and so loving the family/friend time. Others become very sad over the holidays with not having that perfect family or even enjoying their time with others. We can start that day off with wishing it was over or embrace it to let God use our lives. It's important to mend some broken places with others and share the hope of Jesus in our families. We might be the only light that they see. God has brought our lives together for a divine purpose and I hope you don't let one day stop you from sharing his love. Your life matters and your example can shine or be so dim. What will you choose today and on Thanksgiving Day?
