THE PLANS ARE SET INTO MOTION ~
Matthew 7:24-27 New Life Version
Jesus Teaches about Houses Built on Rock or Sand
24 “Whoever hears these words of Mine and does them, will be like a wise man who built his house on rock. 25 The rain came down. The water came up. The wind blew and hit the house. The house did not fall because it was built on rock.
26 Whoever hears these words of Mine and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down. The water came up. The wind blew and hit the house. The house fell and broke apart.”
THE WORD OF GOD ~
Opens our understanding to a bigger plan of life
The beginning and the end, but the in-between is life changing. We don't know the day we will be born, we are just born. We don't know the day we will die either, but the hope of Heaven is before us. God has created you for purpose and wants you to have the desires of your heart.
LIFE ~ I wanted kids and I prayed I would have them. Then when I did, I prayed over them nightly. My husband and I, would do our best to build our house upon the rock (JESUS). Storms of change would happen and we would find that Jesus was our source of strength through it all. Learning in the middle of change isn't always easy.
We had two choices, to build our house upon the sand or build our house upon the rock. We chose the ROCK and find years later, still holding tight to our beliefs. Believing that God does give the desires of our hearts, but our choices matter. Using wisdom in making decisions of life. Balancing out money with wants and needs. There is such a difference between a want and a need.
I always to give my kids the things I didn't have in life. I couldn't always do that, but I could always give them my love and pray for them. Now that I am a Grammie, I find that same love going out to my grandkids and thanking God for second changes. When I used to complain over a dirty room or picking up clothes, I find that kids become teenagers way to soon. Then teenagers to adults and the house is quiet. Until, the grandkids come and blessings start over. Time to teach again to build your house upon the ROCK JESUS and not the sand.
WHEN THE RAINS COME ~
The storms of life, you will find your peace in JESUS.
I have learned over the years that Jesus never leaves us or forsakes us. It is I who left him and it was him who continued to tug on my heart. Bringing me back from a lost place in my heart and finding peace beyond a human understanding. NO ~ not everything in life will make sense. NO ~ you won't like everything that comes your way. NO ~ somethings will never be the same. YES ~ a new normal can arrive and God can set your feet on a better path. YES ~ build your house upon the ROCK JESUS and allow him to change you from the inside out.
I will hold strong, to what I know. I will live by faith and not sight in all areas. I will allow God to make me and mold me on a daily bases. I will pray for you the reader of my blog, your family and friends. God can change your situation to positive, keep the positive going and love without limits.
One rain storm brings water to the ground that needs it and the sun will come again. Just like life situations, the storm will end and a new day will arrive. In your new day, see how God gave your strength to face things you couldn't face! It is often how we view things that matter most. Just like the example of my cracked windshield, my granddaughter who is 4 year old (Willow) said, "Grammie didn't bust your face".
Let us look up this day and see the hand of God changing us for better not bitter!
