Ephesians 5:19-20 New International Version (NIV)
speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, 20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I went to a church last night and children's ministry was singing Christmas Songs. The little kids were brought on the stage to sing and dance around. It was incredible and such a joy to watch. A song brought them together and just singing about Jesus made you realize this season is to celebrate his birth. It was not only amazing, but it uplifted my spirit and put a smile on faces.
Psalm 95 New International Version (NIV)
1 Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord;
let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.
2 Let us come before him with thanksgiving
and extol him with music and song.
MUSIC ~ Put a song in your heart
Psalm 105:1-2 New International Version (NIV)
1 Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name;
make known among the nations what he has done.
2 Sing to him, sing praise to him;
tell of all his wonderful acts.
Give it a try, turn on some music and watch how your attitude can change. Be careful the music you listen to because some is sad. Pick music that uplifts your soul and before you know it, you begin to feel better. There is something about the name of Jesus and a song that praises him. It all about worship and giving thanks for all the things you do have in life. I love Christmas all year round.
If you don't have a home church, I would like to invite you to my church. Hillside Christian Church 100 Anderson Road, Napa CA. December 18, 2017 our children will be singing and celebrating in front of the main church a few Christmas Songs. Three times of services today, 9am, 11am and 6:30pm. Also, a great time to worship and meet you.
As this new day is here, count blessings and see the things you do have in life. Resting in knowing God is in control and everything will be okay.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
