IT TOOK TIME!
A plan was set into motion and there were men who needed to trust God and be lead by his plan. A yes to God, takes us places we never imaged and yet a heart filled with his love. Read these scriptures below about a change and much more.
Matthew 17:1-9 New International Version
The Transfiguration
17 After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. 2 There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light. 3 Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus.
4 Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you wish, I will put up three shelters—one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.”
5 While he was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!”
6 When the disciples heard this, they fell facedown to the ground, terrified. 7 But Jesus came and touched them. “Get up,” he said. “Don’t be afraid.” 8 When they looked up, they saw no one except Jesus.
9 As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus instructed them, “Don’t tell anyone what you have seen, until the Son of Man has been raised from the dead.”
MOUNTAIN EXPERIENCE ~
Think about it, what if you heard the voice of God and stood before Jesus? An experience that would change you forever and you know what you heard. God speaks in different ways and yet a mountain top experience stays within our hearts forever. God spoke to the disciples these words, "Don't be afraid". They had to keep a secret inside and know that God gave them an experience what would change lives.
Jesus still continues to speak through the Bible and into our lives. Change comes as we spend time learning and growing on a daily bases. I've seen a lot in life and experienced much. Sometimes in life, I've seen that I haven't received what I thought I would yet in my life, but I see some wants coming to pass in my kid/adults. I wanted the best in life for them and continue to want that. I have seen them cry and seen them smile. Growing up to find that mountain top experiences are great and yet there is another side of sadness that can happen. I tend to lean on this scripture:
Psalm 37:25 New International Version
25 I was young and now I am old,
yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken
or their children begging bread.
MOUNTAIN EXPERIENCE ~
I experienced giving my heart to God. I learn daily to trust him in all things. I've sacrificed things in life to be able to have time with my kids. They are now kid/adults and I taught them right from wrong. Their choices have been mixed of right and wrongs of life. Inside of them holds a place of God and prayers do make a difference. I have seen miracles and I have told of God grace/mercy. Nothing is too big for God to handle and our attitude makes such difference as well. Yet, each one has their own choices and so do you. We can teach, we can learn and we can grow daily from God's word. We can have our own lives an example to others by doing the best we can. Also, by living real in front of others.
Being a Christian isn't about doing things right all the time, it's about doing the right thing. Christian is a word that leads to disciple which means to follow like the disciplines in the Bible did. They all made mistakes and carried out their own lives. However, a daily walk with Jesus is important. I get sadden by people who call themselves Christian and don't carry a Jesus attitude at all. Their example isn't shining like his words or even their actions. Yet, I am careful not to judge and work on myself. I know that one day, you can read over my other writings and I know that I write real to you. Life sometimes is very hard and we can grow from hard situations. In all seasons trust and go back to that Mountain Experience with Jesus and know that he has our now in his hands.
Going through life is a journey and trusting beyond a human understanding. I have felt God the midnight hour and I have seen his goodness for sure. I can say a mountain experience with God is amazing and learning to him is important. It's a new day filled with opportunities to make life better. My prayers continue for you, your family/friends.
Stand on faith, it can move mountains. There are difference sides of a mountain experience and holding onto God's word is important. I heard someone say, "but you haven't experienced what I have in life and you don't understand". You are right, I haven't experience your situations, but each situations can still be handled with love, kindness and a deep breathe of hope. God hears the cry of your heart and wants more for you. Don't give up believing and holding on for a miracle today. I've seen too much not to believe BIG! I will hold on for the readers of my blog, your family/friends.
