My heart is filled with mixed emotions today.  A day with a title often is harder than it looks.  As you see my post with my kids and the wonderful gifts they gave me, you can't see my heart.  I am forever grateful for the best kid/adults.   I am forever grateful for my amazing grandchildren and extended family. I am excited to meet my granddaughter who is expected to arrive on July 3, 2018.  Yet, I miss my mom,   mother in law/love, aunts and others who rest in Heaven.  I have wonderful memories with so many women who are gone now. Their examples will last a lifetime for me, both good ones and hard one.

MOTHER'S DAY ~
Mixed emotions

Each of us might experience some same things, but difference how we handle it. There are so many examples of this day bringing stress to lives, but what if we focus on how God created each of us for a plan. His plan that unfold in this new day and do our best to make this the  best day ever. We can look beyond ourselves and see the former things of life, but bounce right into this new day of God's love and power in our lives.  See God is doing a new thing each day!

Isaiah 43:18-19 New International Version (NIV)
18 “Forget the former things;
    do not dwell on the past.
19 See, I am doing a new thing!
    Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
    and streams in the wasteland.

Each day is another chance to live in freedom of life.  Maybe you didn't have the best mom or even a mom at all.  Maybe you can not have children and hurt on this day we call mother's day.  Maybe you don't understand why God took your mom or your child.    Can't we just live in a world where everybody gets along?  The real world is mixed emotions and ups plus downs.

MOTHER'S DAY ~
You were born on purpose and unique

Psalm 139:13-14 New International Version (NIV)

13 For you created my inmost being;
    you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
    your works are wonderful,
    I know that full well.

1 Peter 2:9
 New International Version (NIV)
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession,that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

All I can tell you today is this:
God created you unique and for purpose.  You were birthed by the woman God chose to be your mom.  Maybe she didn't step up to hold that title of mom, but she did birth you. God has a plan for you. You can break out into freedom of mind, choices and live according to God's word (Bible).  There is no greater love than God can give you.  There is no greater love that you can give anyone but telling about God's and his plan for their lives.

Maybe life hasn't turned out like you thought, you has turned out pretty amazing.  This day brings smiles and tears called Mother's Day.  There will be millions of flowers given and one rose not given.  There will be millions of cards given and one card not given.  Women and men will be disappointed in this day and tears will come.  If I could only get your to focus on Jesus and how the mother of him felt the day she gave it all as her son was beaten for you and me.  John 3:16 tells it all:

John 3:16-17 New International Version (NIV)16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

I promise to continue to pray for you, your family and friends today!  Jesus thank you for giving it all for us to live in freedom in this day God has made.  Happy Mother's Day to you who were birthed on purpose by God.  Purpose this a great day!
