Romans 10:17 English Standard Version (ESV)
So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.
I've seen miracles. I wanted to share a couple now. When I was a kid about 10 years old, I got hit with a plastic doll crib. It cut my head really bad and I had heard a message at church about faith. I wanted my mom to call the pastor, but my dad wasn't a believer and wanted the doctor. My mom ended up calling the pastor and his wife to pray over me. They cleaned up the cut, bandaged it and prayed. Later that day, my mom took off the bandage and the cut was gone! Only a small mark was there and my mom said she wiped it off and my head was completed healed. A miracle took place and my dad witness God's power. He wasn't a believer of Jesus at this point of life. I had the faith, my mom trusted that and called the pastor. I stand on this miracle because I saw it.
Years would pass and I would have a son (Chad). He started swelling up everywhere he his body had a joint. There doctor said he had about 3 days and would need to enter the hospital. He spoke of keeping him calm unto he couldn't breathe anymore. His windpipe would close off because of this illness. I couldn't handle this doctor's report and began to pray. I called everyone I knew could pray and much prayer went up. There wasn't cell phones or Facebook then. He kept swelling up and even said his eye was broke when he looked in the mirror. My baby was only 2 years old and somehow God is all his goodness, gave him a miracle. He is now 34 years old and I stand on this miracle because I saw it.
BECAUSE I SAW IT ~
THE POWER OF GOD WITH MIRACLES
I stand on the word of God and believe big. When I heard a negative report by a doctor or anyone, I choose to see the positive. Even though the positive can be hard to see. Stir up some faith, believe big and keep doubt away. I choose to live in the moments of faith and know that GOD IS ABLE. Whatever you face today, you don't face it alone. God is right here for each of us in our own ways.
Miracles happen ~ sometimes we don't personally have the faith, but I've had moments of others saying I'll hold on for you. Those words can last a lifetime of God's goodness. I learned by example to say those words to others. I'll hold on for you and believe big. When in doubt, speak this: GOD IS ABLE. I know his miracle working power. Sometimes we need to recall miracles, special moments and the moment God opened our hearts to his ways. A brand new day bring brand new moments!
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
GOD IS ABLE
