Matthew 17:20 New International Version (NIV)
He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
According to the Bible, faith as small as a mustard seed is powerful. I have called upon the name of the Lord and found him this to be true. Things that looked impossible to people but life changing situations can happen for the best. My first experience with faith was when I was little about 9 or 10 years old. I didn't go to church much, but my mom took me to a service where faith was taught. The Pastor spoke about miracles in the Bible and how faith comes alive. I soon after got hit in the head and a deep cut appeared. I asked my mom to called the Pastor to pray. My dad wanted me to go the hospital but my mom said lets pray. The Pastor and his wife came over to pray. Not only pray but cleaned it up and put a bandage on it. Later that night, my mom thought she should look at it. When she took the bandage off, there was nothing there. No scar or anything. Keep in mind, my dad wasn't a believer and this was huge for him. It sparks hope in my hope that day that miracles happen.
Nothing will be impossible for you
When the Bible speaks of nothing is impossible with God, that's true but not all our prayers will be answered the way we think. There will be things that don't make sense to us and the big wonder of why it even happened comes alive. We must go back to our faith and not question so much. Keep believing and keep hoping in miracles of life.
My son was only 2 years old when he we were told by his doctor that he had 3 days to live. A sickness that attached his muscles in his body. I called everyone I knew to pray and believe big for Chad. God answered that prayer on the third day. A miracle took place and Chad is now an adult with children of his own. When I took into the doctor, I found out that doctor did not believe in God, but this made his a believer. It was a room full of tears that day of a happy ending to a sickness that should have taken his life according to his doctor.
A new day of life brings things we know and don't know. The one thing we should always remember is this, "GOD IS ABLE". Trusting the plan of God is certainly not always easy but such a must. I have seen miracles and I have seen the process of life just be a little hard. Turning my eyes and heart to God's plan and living in the land of trust. Jeremiah 29:11 A plan, a promise and a future is what each of have in this life.
Waiting on your miracle? Continue to wait and believe BIG. I trust the process of change and i know that God can bring good out of hard things. I've seen too much to doubt the power of God or to live in his will for my life. I pray everyday morning for the readers of my blog, your family and friends. I now that some things are just hard and we need each other. We need the spark of another's life to send us into hope again. Only God knows the depth of our hearts desires and he says he will given us them. We must be realistic in what we ask and know he is able to do it. Purpose this a good day and remember that I care as well as God does daily for each of us.
