Acts 3 New International Version (NIV)
Peter Heals a Lame Beggar
One day Peter and John were going up to the temple at the time of prayer—at three in the afternoon. 2 Now a man who was lame from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those going into the temple courts. 3 When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money. 4 Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, “Look at us!” 5 So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them.
6 Then Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.” 7 Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong. 8 He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God. 9 When all the people saw him walking and praising God, 10 they recognized him as the same man who used to sit begging at the temple gate called Beautiful, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.
MIRACLES CONTINUE ~
Our prayers make a difference too. We can hold on with someone or for someone. God hears the cry of our hearts and does miracle. You can also read about other miracles in the Bible and how God did wonders. Think of about how he created everything from the beginning of time and he created you too.
MIRACLES PART 2 ~
It was April 3, 2009 that my first grandbaby (Brookley) would be born. Little did we know her mother (Ashley) would go through such a hard delivery. Ashley wanted to have Brookley natural but it came down to an emergency C-Section. I can see my son clearly as he sat outside the room waiting until the Doctor said it was okay to come in. Tears pouring down his face and he motioned to me with praying hands. I continued to pray and others were too. There was concern for Ashley and the baby. Both would be okay but the baby's doctor said this, "Had it been a few minutes longer, I'm not sure this baby would have made it". I knew in my heart, God has done a miracle for Ashley and Brookley. Prayer does make a difference. Ten years later, I will always give thanks to God for Ashley and Brookley.
Today I gave you one story from the Bible and another story from my own family. God has been good to me and my family. We have been through sorrows, but victories. We have seen God move in lives and continue to do changes. Our faith holds strong and miracles still happen. I hope this has encourage you today to hold on for your miracle and don't stop believing. My prayers continue for the readers of my blog, your family and friends.
