MIRACLES HAPPEN ~
Acts 3:1-10 New International Version (NIV)
Peter Heals a Lame Beggar
One day Peter and John were going up to the temple at the time of prayer—at three in the afternoon. 2 Now a man who was lame from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those going into the temple courts. 3 When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money. 4 Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, “Look at us!” 5 So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them.
6 Then Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.” 7 Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong. 8 He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God. 9 When all the people saw him walking and praising God, 10 they recognized him as the same man who used to sit begging at the temple gate called Beautiful, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.
MIRACLES HAPPEN ~
It was not Jesus who touch this man to be healed, but it was Peter who spoke. Peter was called by God and he prayed, "in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk".
God uses us in different ways in life. Believing in miracles is one of them. Letting God use our lives and encouraging others as well. Hold on for your miracle in this life time. God is not a respecter of persons, but hears your heart. What are you waiting on in life? Take all the limits off of God and watch what he will do. I have seen people give up on God and I often wonder what would have happened if they kept serving God? Don't give up on your miracle or the desires of your heart. God is a true promise keeper.
It is also good to recall miracles or healing in the lives of your family, friends or yourself. Speak words of life and hope everyday. We can look at the glass half full or half empty. I choose to see the good in this day and know that God is able. He is able to handle what I face and whatever you face. Miracles still happen in the year 2020 and I'm glad that God never changes.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
