1 Blessed is the one
who does not walk in step with the wicked
or stand in the way that sinners take
or sit in the company of mockers,
2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord,
and who meditates on his law day and night.
3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither--
whatever they do prospers.
PSALM ~ 1
Mediate on God and his ways.
Turning from your own thoughts,to God's thoughts are sometimes easier said than done. Living according what the Bible says and pressing forward in life.
2 Corinthians 10:5 King James Version (KJV)
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.
Thoughts are powerful because they can turn into actions. Think the best of yourself and never allow negative words to bring you down. I love this scripture:
Philippians 3:14 King James Version (KJV)
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
I have realized that keeping my mind on God is so important. It's crazy how one thoughts of hurtful things of your life can bring back many things. How about thinking on one positive thing that God has done for you and keep the positive going? I like to be around positive people and yet I know they have negative things too.. Maybe they wouldn't call them negative but the things they are waiting on for God to answer too. There are many prayers unanswered and some stay unanswered in life. God's plan isn't for us to know all of his ways for our lives.
For example, had I known when we bought our house years ago, that someday we would sale it, would bring sadness in the beginning. My mind would ask, why have it in the first place? We were at fault because we didn't plan money right. It wasn't God or was it? Because had we not lost that house, I would have never moved here or met the people I have met. Both of my kids found their mates of life here and now I have grandchildren. I'm just saying this, God works all things for our good. Yes, I trust him and hope you do too.
Romans 8:28 New International Version (NIV)And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[a] have been called according to his purpose.
Purpose this a good day. My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
