MEMORIES ~
Terry said his grandpa taught him to trust the Lord
Proverbs 3:5-6 New International Version (NIV)
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.
MEMORIES ~
Is there someone in your life that has taught you to trust the Lord? You know that person who lives by faith and not sight. When I met my husband, he was such a young man of faith. He told me about scriptures to hold onto in life. He had patience with me because I didn't know the Lord or have faith. I was a teenager and I was not a person who went to church. I remember hearing that Jesus loves me a kid and that meant something to my heart.
John 3:16-17 New International Version (NIV)
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
The past can bring us back to a hard place or a good place of life. Maybe it's just a fine mixture of both. I can look back to see miracles in my life and my family. My husband was only 30 years old when he feel over 40 feet on a construction site. I was told it was a small accident but find out the truth scared me so bad. He had cracked ribs, a broken knee cap and bruises all over his body. I was told his hard hat saved his face from being smacked by landing on the ground. It was more like a free fall of 40 feet. I thank God he was alive and not hurt worse. It did change our lives forever and we learned a new normal of life. Sometimes things happen we must deal with like it or not. Finding the good from it and trusting God's plan.
MEMORIES + MIRACLES
God is still at work in all of our lives
Matthew 17:20 New International Version (NIV)
20 He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
We need each other in this life. God created man to not be alone and created woman. God gave us family and friendships too. He gave us grandpa's and grandma's to tell us about the good old days. How lives have been changed through the power of God. New beginnings happen to each of us and we should do our best daily. Opening our Bibles for scriptures and living by faith. Each day is a chance to share Jesus with others and believe big. Don't give up on the miracle you are praying for in life. I know several people who need a miracle of health and I'm holding on for them too. My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
