I CHOOSE TO BELIEVE!
Life is way to short and we often compare our lives to others. If you find yourself comparing your life, be careful you don't know the depth of another person's story. You just might not want to have lived through what they have if you knew. I choose to believe in God and his power is enough to handle anything I face today.
In the hardest times of life, God is faithful to listen, to act and to accomplish my prayers. Things might not always turn out the way I think they should, but God knows best. It is me who needs to realize my thoughts to his thoughts. I only need to look up to the mountains and high above into the sky, to see the wonders of a God who created it all.
Psalm 121 New International Version
1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains--
where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
3 He will not let your foot slip--
he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord watches over you--
the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
6 the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord will keep you from all harm--
he will watch over your life;
8 the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.
MAKER ~ is the creator of it all
I think over the way a cake is put together. All the ingredients is gather together and it takes even more action to make it happen. Mixed together, put into an oven to bake and at the right time, you take that cake out of the oven. It smells the room with an amazing smells and your mouth is ready to eat it. I would like to compare this to the MAKER. The maker of our lives who is God and the creator of all things. He knows exactly who to put into our lives to encourage us, to share all seasons of live with and the outcome is a beautiful person. A person who surrenders their will, ways and desires to God. Just at the right time, God sends blessings into your heart and mind. It is all about the way we view things and letting go of what is not right for our lives.
I was speaking to someone today and not all people who go to Church, live a surrender lifestyle. They are just people like you and me, but the difference is some people really let go of things and let God mold them into new beings. A new birth so to speak and new ways set far above into the mountains in which God speaks.
Each of us have ups and downs in life. We often compare our lives to others and need to stop it immediately. God made us unique and special. He wants each of us to see things his way. He does give us free will and that sometimes can get us into trouble. Leaning to God is your choice and action. Take this new day you have been given and give back. Look up and see God at work in the mountain of change. The journey can get hard, but with God, he can handle your now.
My prayers continue for the readers of my blog, your family and friends!
