From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets,
the name of the Lord is to be praised.
MAKE THE BEST OF IT ~
Each day I always think about the in-between times of life. The times of rising in the morning and going to be at night. Choosing to count blessings and doing my best daily to be a peacemaker. Not everyone understands me, but I do know I have a heart of good intentions. It is good to be able to live with yourself in peace. Knowing that God guides my life and my example matters too.
2 Peter 3:18 New International Version (NIV)
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.
MAKE THE BEST OF IT ~
Grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus.
As a kid, I wanted to grow up fast. I actually heard one of my granddaughters say this too. If I could be an adult for one day and what would that look like? In my mind, it was simply being nice to others. Sharing smiles and laughter. It certainly was not making fun of others or even teasing others. Putting family first was my desire of life. God knows our hearts and he is patient with us. Now as an adult, I never wanted to be a kid again. I didn't feel I had the normal childhood or able to have friends. As a adult, I still want people to treat me with respect and kind words. That doesn't always happen either. Life is short and we must purpose time with our families, but how do you do that in social distancing and this crazy time of life we live in now in the year 2020. Especially my extended family and friends. We take one day at time and hope a cure for the virus will happen soon.
LIFE ~
SUNSHINE and SUNFLOWERS are my favorite
When my kids were little, we took them to Christian Youth Camps for about 10 years every year. My husband and I were counselors to kids. It was so fun and I'll never forget some fun days there. One more song was this: Rise and shine and give God the glory!!! I love kids and I love God so much. I couldn't live without him in my life or just being me. I choose to believe that one day, the virus will be written about in history and we are part of this huge story. Our example during this time matters. Our prayers matter and reaching out to others matter. Go ahead and purpose this a good day. See the good in the day and one day closer to freedom to eating in restaurants again or beaches or fun places or whatever you want to do because you can. Yes, life changes and we must make the best of it.
THE BEST OF IT ~
GOD BE THE GLORY and DO YOUR BEST TO ENJOY THIS LIFE YOU HAVE BEEN GIVEN
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
