TELEPHONE SWITCHBOARD ~
So many people working to connect lives
May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart
be pleasing in your sight,
Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.
Over time, we have grown in communications of telephones. Switchboards created where people would sit there and receive a call to transfer a call, "LET ME CONNECT YOU". I remember as a kid of party calls, which means that someone else could listen to your conversation. From a dial telephone, push button telephones and now most of us own a cell phone. Walking around talking without a wire connected to the wall (Freedom).
Communication has become easier and yet there is still a lack of communication between people. Phone connections fail and we fail to call those we care about in life. We fail to connect in time and face to face. We just loose communication with others and good words are so important.
LOST CONNECTIONS ~
As we move forward in life, we find that our lives loose connections with others. People move away, people stop calling and we just tent to drift away. Yet, there are connections with others that were meant to last a life time. Learning and growing from each other. A special connect at work, church, school and the list goes on. We must purpose to keep the right attitude and connect with others.
Psalm 37:30-31 New International Version (NIV)
The mouths of the righteous utter wisdom,
and their tongues speak what is just.
31 The law of their God is in their hearts;
their feet do not slip.
CONNECTIONS WITH GOD ~
Don't miss the little things in life, that are more valuable than you might know! Those moments that you just can't get back. Ask yourself if it's really important to miss out on something or is it time to press forward and reconnect in certain areas of life. There is at me to guard your heart, protect your mind and do what is right. Keep your mouth from words you will regret later in life. Just a few words today to say we can't alway control somethings that happen to us. But we can control what comes out of own mouths. Think before you speak because words can last a life time!
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
