Jesus put his hands on the blind man and his eyes were open!
MARK 8:22-26 (NIV)
Jesus Heals a Blind Man at Bethsaida
22 They came to Bethsaida, and some people brought a blind man and begged Jesus to touch him. 23 He took the blind man by the hand and led him outside the village. When he had spit on the man’s eyes and put his hands on him, Jesus asked, “Do you see anything?”
24 He looked up and said, “I see people; they look like trees walking around.”
25 Once more Jesus put his hands on the man’s eyes. Then his eyes were opened, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly. 26 Jesus sent him home, saying, “Don’t even go into the village.
THIS IS WHAT I KNOW ~
God is at work behind he scenes of our lives!
Jesus had to approach the blind man twice. The first time, the man saw people, but they looked like trees walking around. The second time, the man's eyes opened, his sight was restored. The man saw everything clearly. The man trusted Jesus and Jesus wanted to heal him. The process took more than once. How many times in your life has you waited on God? You know, the wait of healing or the trust that needs to stay alive. I have learned to trust the process in many things of life. God's knows the outcome and trust must be there.
LOOKING OUT OVER THE WATER ~
I see how God created the water, the wave and the power behind it all, is his.
I can see how God created the wind and we can't see it. We can feel it and I can see it as the the trees blow. I can see the power behind the waves and know God is working. In the book of Genesis, it talks about the beginning and how each day God did something. Along the way, he created man. He saw that man needed not to be alone and created woman. It all comes down to this, God created you. You are purposed and the design of your life is needed. What you do and what you say matters. Your important and only you can do what God has called you to do.
Many people stop after being hurt in a church, by others and loose so much. I was a purpose who got hurt by others and left church for almost one year. Then I realized it never was God who hurt me, but people. People say things wrong and make mistakes too. It's important to surround our lives by people who spur us on and help us see things God's ways. You might be the only Jesus that someone knows or see's in life. We must continue doing what's right, even when it's hard.
MIRACLES ~ Jesus heals the Blind Man
I have seen miracles in my life time and I find it amazing how God works. Behind that miracles were prayers and actions of others. Keep the faith and don't give up. I pray daily for you (readers of my blog), your family and friends. I don't know what you are going through, but God does. Prayer goes along with praise and I thank God for answered prayers. Even some unanswered prayers are needed too. God knows best!
Purpose this a good day,
