How you ever notice how we search for things too. Maybe it's confidence to face a new day or new job. Maybe it's just courage to face a new day. A new day brings challenges, victories, peace and yes even fear to some. We get afraid of things we face inside but how often do we forget that God gives us peace, courage and freedom to live in him. Sure somethings are totally scary and it's okay to be afraid, but do somethings afraid!
Isaiah 26:3 New King James Version (NKJV)
You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You.
DO IT AFRAID ~
I have found that when I face the hardest things of life, God is always there. I was reminded how I was afraid to teach men in a bible study group. I didn't realize how I felt until presented with it. Years later, I can tell you that I am glad I faced it, because I've so learned in this group. I don't have that fear or scared feeling anymore. Once I faced it, it was was gone. Victory comes by facing the things we like and don't like. Overcoming is such a joy inside one's heart.
John 16:33 New International Version (NIV)
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
SEARCHING FOR PEACE ~
It is inside of you all the time
Only God can give you the peace you so long for in life. A surrendered lifestyle to him brings peace in ways you may never know. I have found courage and peace serving the Lord. I know he is able to handle whatever I face and face it with joy. The Bible says that the joy of the Lord is your strength. It also says that you are a overcome. Your own testimony will help someone else and you can also see how far God has brought your life.
What are you in search of today? I remember when I was in search of a real friend. I started praying that God would send me a friend and he sent me many. I attend a healthy church in Napa called, "Hillside Christian Church". It is there I found friendships and became a leader to help others. I enjoy kids ministry and part of Women's Leadership Team. If you don't have a home church, I invite you to mine. Real friendships happen there and God connects lives for purpose. What you might be looking for in life, take you making a new step in a new direction.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
