Proverbs 16:9 New International Version (NIV)
In their hearts humans plan their course,
but the Lord establishes their steps.
On this journey of life, we learn things. Someone asked me. if I saw what they did? The depth of that question went further than I knew. The person asked but, is the green the same green you see. It began to my mind to think and of course, I didn't know that answer. I saw the same thing, but our view on green could totally be different. Then I realize, the person who color blind and didn't see a color at all.
I posted this picture of the giraffe and myself. I had to look up the see the height of this statue and I loved it. By looking up, I also saw how beautiful the sky was that day and I remember it clearly. We do see things different and yet the same in many areas of life. There are scriptures of hope and holding onto them along this journey of life.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 New International Version (NIV)
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
DO YOU SEE WHAT I SEE ~
All scripture is God-breathed and useful
I find myself searching out the word of God for my journey. I hold onto scripture that is much needed during praise and sorrow times of life. I know that God has always been there and it takes me looking up once again. I know that his plan unfolds as I grow closer to him. I know do things from my heart and some people don't always understand me. I can't be someone other than who God has created me to be in this life.
DO YOU SEE WHAT I SEE ~
Look into the mirror of hope and see yourself stronger than ever. Each of us fight our own battles at times and must hold tight to the word of God. The Bible speaks of putting on the full armor of God. Things to protect our minds, soul and lives in all ways. I see the importance of guarding my heart.
Ephesians 6:10-18 New International Version (NIV)
The Armor of God
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
BIBLE ~ words to guide our lives. So simple and yet we don't always guard our hearts, protect our minds or move forward. Things stop us and we must look up! Look up to words of God and know that his power is real just by a new day of choices. We do have freedom to think, act and react on this journey of life. We must purpose a good day!
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
