LOOK AT THIS WAY ~
This is the year of the Lord's favor
Luke 4:18-19 New International Version (NIV)
18 “The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
to set the oppressed free,
19 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
I find it good to recall some great things God has already done for me. It also helps in hard times of wonder, but through it all, God is faithful to me. God is faithful to you too. It is the way I view things that matter. I can see the glass half full or half empty. I can see that God has done so many great things or I can see the few things I still wait on. I believe God still does miracles and answered the desires of our hearts. We must delight ourselves in him and trust him.
Psalm 37:4-7 New International Version (NIV)
4 Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
5 Commit your way to the Lord;
trust in him and he will do this:
6 He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn,
your vindication like the noonday sun.
7 Be still before the Lord
and wait patiently for him;
do not fret when people succeed in their ways,
when they carry out their wicked schemes.
LOOK AT THIS WAY ~
God will give you the desires of you heart
I have found that waiting is often part of the process of God's plan. I don't always understand the why of things, but I do trust the Lord. I hope you hold on for the things you truly want in life. We can't only wait, but we must show action in our waiting. I can look back on life now and see how my yesterdays were also meant to plan my future. My husband and I could have planned retirement better. It is good to research things and know your options in younger years. It is good to still research things in older years and know your options as well. God is good, but our own actions is good too. Taking responsibility to know God's ways, our personal future and living in today. It all mixes together to look at life this way. Freedom comes from the Lord, but freedom also comes with our own choices of life.
I thank God that he has connected our lives through this blog. I pray daily for the readers, your family and friends. Purpose this is a good day!
