John 9 New International Version (NIV)
Jesus Heals a Man Born Blind
As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. 2 His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”
3 “Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him. 4 As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. 5 While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”
6 After saying this, he spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man’s eyes. 7 “Go,” he told him, “wash in the Pool of Siloam” (this word means “Sent”). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing.
8 His neighbors and those who had formerly seen him begging asked, “Isn’t this the same man who used to sit and beg?” 9 Some claimed that he was.
Others said, “No, he only looks like him.”
But he himself insisted, “I am the man.”
10 “How then were your eyes opened?” they asked.
11 He replied, “The man they call Jesus made some mud and put it on my eyes. He told me to go to Siloam and wash. So I went and washed, and then I could see.”
12 “Where is this man?” they asked him.
“I don’t know,” he said.
LOOK AT IT THIS WAY ~
God healing power is in the process too
I see how miracles come in small things and big things. We might not realize how God is at work in us and through us. As for me, when I had the heart attack the doctor said I beat the odds. I should have died within the first two hours after. I know can tell others to call 911 immediately and don't hesitate if the pressure is so strong in your chest. Our stories do help others and God gets all the praise for taking us from a point of death to life again. I didn't realize how bad I really was until the next day. I think I went through a point of shock of words and then my body wasn't working right. I heard inside my head, I need help and that's when I went to the hospital.
God is a miracle worker, but he also works through medicine. I am so grateful to God for a new day and the doctors who knew what do next for me. It's not by chance that we life, but by the power of God. There are times we must stir up faith inside of us. It's not just faith but action of that.
Romans 10:17 New International Version (NIV)
Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.
I hope this has spark some hope inside of you. If your waiting on a miracle, keep the faith. Recall some good things God has already done and know he is able to handle this day just fine. My prayers continue for you, your family and friends. Don't forget, sometimes your miracle comes in the process of time.
