My life has changed over time, but I'm happy to announce that God remains the same. Focus on what is right, stay tuned to God's channel and press forward! Even the strongest person you know, has some tough times in life. It is so much better just knowing God forgives, forgets and loves us.
Ecclesiastes 11:9-10 New International Version (NIV)
9 You who are young, be happy while you are young,
and let your heart give you joy in the days of your youth.
Follow the ways of your heart
and whatever your eyes see,
but know that for all these things
God will bring you into judgment.
10 So then, banish anxiety from your heart
and cast off the troubles of your body,
for youth and vigor are meaningless.
LIVING A DREAM ~ TODAY
I am alive and pressing forward
Casting away an anxiety and putting on the favor of God. He has plans for your life and it's time to believe in greater things. A new day brings so much. The battle begins as thoughts start to rush through my head. In my youth, I thought different than I do today. I've grown through the word of God and through life itself. I just know somethings and I've learned to put my trust in God.
Psalm 71:17-18 New International Version (NIV)
17 Since my youth, God, you have taught me,
and to this day I declare your marvelous deeds.
18 Even when I am old and gray,
do not forsake me, my God,
till I declare your power to the next generation,
your mighty acts to all who are to come.
Each of us have something to give in this life. Some of can sing, dance, teacher, preach, sing or whatever your title might be. God created us different for a reason. We are joined together through the words on this page today. Your example goes further than you know and the next generation is watching others. Actually, it's not just the next generations, but those who see you now. We are to tell others of the power of Jesus and his way. His miracle working power still happens today. Some hard things will still happen, but the outlook you have can become so different.
I went to a growth group last night and I could see the importance of different ages joining together. We learn from each other and that's important. We grow through experiences that others share and can relate to their words. They can also learn from our words. I am more toward verse 18 above, in being old and gray but knowing the power of God is real. Each day of life, we grow, learn and can reach out to someone. God's word teaches us how to act, relate and to forgive. Guarding your heart and your words in everyday life.
LIVING A DREAM ~
When I was young, I wanted to grow up and teach people to be kind. I find my life living that dream today. Teaching and leading by the best example I can. I still make mistakes, but I keep pressing forward. There are no perfect people in this world and saying yes to God opens amazing doors. A door for me to co-lead women on Wednesday nights. A door open to co-lead a growth group too. Weekly coming together to lead and writing you everyday of my life. Even on vacation, I still continue to write. I want you to know that you are loved, forgiven and designed by God for greater things. If you have a dream in your heart, don't let go! God is working on your behalf in putting things in order.
My thoughts and prayers are for you, your family and friends.
