Psalm 121
A song of ascents.
1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains--
where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
3 He will not let your foot slip--
he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord watches over you--
the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
6 the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord will keep you from all harm--
he will watch over your life;
8 the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.
LIFT UP YOUR EYES ~
My helps comes from the Lord ~ Verse 2 above
I like to know that God watches over me and it is good to read Psalms. Verse 8 speaks of God watching over your coming and going both now and forevermore. That's a long time and we can count on God. Are you waiting on God to answer a prayer today for yourself or someone else? Let us agree in prayer today that prayer will be answered suddenly. I do realize that sometimes the answer to a prayer is a process and time makes a difference. I pray daily for the readers of my blog, your family and friends. I know that prayer works and your mindset matters.
Romans 12:1-2 (NIV)
A Living Sacrifice
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Purpose this a good day and share hope with someone else today!
