Psalm 23:6 New King James Version (NKJV)
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
LIFE ~ Live In Faith Eternally
John 10:10 New King James Version (NKJV)
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
I sometimes forget that the devil is real and wants to stop my life from living in God's grace and mercy. I remember things I need to let go of in life. Living in the freedom of God means you don't need to replay negative things. God has already taken care of all the negative and offers a new way of thinking. The devil has a plan to destroy but God has a plan to live more abundantly in him. His holy spirit gives life changes experiences.
Acts 1:8 New International Version (NIV)
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
HOLY SPIRIT ~ John 14:26 Amplified Bible (AMP)26 But the Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will help you remember everything that I have told you.
Keeping a teachable attitude is important in life. We continue to learn things as we read the Bible, listen to messages and listening to others. When I was a teenager, I thought I knew so much and I thought when I graduated, I would just go to work and that was the end of learning. I was so wrong, because we continue to learn daily if we keep our minds ready. We must know that God knows us and searches us. We must stop and talk to God like David did in the Bible.
LIFE ~ DAVID ~ Psalm 139:1-2 (NIV)
1 You have searched me, Lord,
and you know me.
2 You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar.
Talking to God is the beginning of change for each of us. Laying aside things we need to and grabbing onto a living word (Bible). Give some thanks for all the things you do have in life and share it with someone. I find that a text message sure helps, a phone call or even a visit with someone. Sunday's is about Church for many people and yet so many people do not go. A church that teaches the Bible and a community of people growing in God. Nobody is perfect and we all make mistakes of life. One of my mistakes was staying home and away from people. Once I surrendered my heart to God, it open a new way of living and thinking for me. I can see how far God has brought my life and I realize that not everyone will agree with me or even like me. That's okay, because I do my best daily to live for God and his word. I hope you do too.
Life is about living and don't forget to live in this day! My prayers continue for you, your family and friends. Purpose this a good day and count some blessings.
