I'M HERE THINKING ABOUT YOU!
Matthew 19:14 New International Version (NIV)
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
LIFE ~ I may not know who reads my blog, but I certainly feel those who do, feel cared about. I pray daily for the readers of my blog, your family and friends. Each of us have been through hard things of life and easy things of life. God has a way of bring lives together and that's a good thing. When we connect with someone else who understands our hearts, we feel cared for in life.
I have been in hard places of life. Giving you the short version of being a child and only wanting a friend. Someone who didn't tease me or make fun of me. Someone who wanted to pass notes to me in class like I saw other kids do. But that never happened for me as a kid. I learned to be alone and keep my thoughts to myself or a safe place (like my stuff animals as a kid.
I can feel the hearts of children and I often have that kid like attitude while being an adult. I know how to balance playing with my grandchildren, helping at our church, helping in school and being a good example to them. I think adults often forget what it was like being a kid. Some people grow up from childhood and just want to forget it. Let us not forget that God speaks of us coming to him in child like faith and not to grow weary in well doing. I think he knew being an adult would be testing times and good times of life.
Matthew 11:28 (NIV)
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
REST ~ Comes to us in different ways. We can rest in knowing God has this or we can stress about things in life. There are somethings we can change and certainly things we can not change. There are things that happen to us in life and it makes us not want to reach out to others. But it is in the reaching out stages of life that we get connected to knew people. To people who have walked some of ours same roads of life and can show us how important it is to stayed connected.
The devil is the one who tries to divide us in life. Divide us from what is right to wrong. Divide us in thoughts and actions as well. Taking back everything that is good and allow God to redirect our lives into a positive way. Each day is such a great opportunity to help someone and ourselves. My favorite day is a stay spent with you Pooh says above in the picture. I find that to be true with someone else, but true for my own life too. A special day and knowing that God has a plan behind the scenes of my life as well as your life.
God, I ask today largely that whoever reads this or is connected to this will feel your holy spirit at work. There are people dealing with a loss of a loved one, trying to get a job, lack of money, stresses that nobody knows about and illness. We agree now that your power will help each of us through this day and victory will come. Strength for those who need, courage for those who feel scared and wisdom to know how to handle this day. God we thank you for connecting your lives but also for your power to overcome and restart our lives. Praying peace, love, joy and hope for each life. AMEN
