THE JOURNEY OF LIFE ~
Jesus is the son of God
1 John 5:20-21 New International Version (NIV)
We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true by being in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life. 21 Dear children, keep yourselves from idols.
THE JOURNEY OF LIFE ~
Keep yourselves from idols
When you think of an idol, what do you think of? I think of a statue in most cases. A idol can be found in people too. It is anything you hold higher that God or even place in that spot of life. Looking up to people is ok, but don't allow them to become more to you than God is in life. Letting go of somethings of life brings you closer to God. Listening to that still small voice inside of you that directs your path daily. The journey of life continues and each of us have a divine appointment on earth by God. Our examples reach farther than we might realize.
Let us sing for joy ~
Psalm 95:1 Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.
LIFE LOOKS DIFFERENT ~
If you had a new death experience, you know that life does look different after that experience. I had two actual experiences. One in the year 2004 on vacation with family. A tsunami came in Cabo and we were walking along the sand by the water. The next thing we knew, my husband, Ana and I were under water and our family came to help. There were two people who jumped into the water to help us. After we got out, we thank the two people. They both said, "Don't thank us, thank God". Then they seem to disappear along the sand as they walked off. We knew we had a God experience for sure! It was then, that I said yes to God and would teach in women's ministry.
The second experience was September 18, 2019. I woke up at nighttime with strong pressure in my chest. I waited for hours because I thought it would go away. It only got worse and I woke my husband up to take me to Emergency. It was there that I found out I had a heart attack and needed a stent put into my heart. I came home the next day. Laying on that table waiting, I talked to God. I didn't want to die and I wanted to live. I hoped my journey wasn't over and I could have another chance of doing my best health physically and spiritually. I called people to people and my family came rushing to my side. God answered and I'm doing great. A true miracle that I didn't die within the first two hours the emergency doctor said to me.
YOUR JOURNEY ~
See the good in your life. Give praise for all you do have today. Never take health or life for granted. God is able, but we he wants us to do our part too. Eat right, exercise and make a difference while you are on earth. Someone is watching your example and needs you too. Be who God has called you to be and enjoy this life you have been given. My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
