JESUS HAD TO GO AWAY ~
Mark 1:35 (NIV)
Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.
The Bible is full of stories about miracles that came through the life of Jesus. It is also full of stories of men and women just like us. Stories that came from broken places of life and Jesus was used by God to restore life. A prayer of faith, a walk of remembrance of daily living on earth. Throughout our lives there are times that life us high and other times that remind us of how important a daily talk with Jesus can be.
It can be often to see the spiritual through the earthly battle of thoughts, mind and soul. There comes a time of anger within us or frustrations of prayers not getting answered. It takes us to purpose our mind to think upon the goodness of God, his grace and his mercy. It doesn't make the battle go away, but helps us through situations we can not change.
I believe God knew we would battle thoughts and believing at times of life. I get frustrated over somethings and I get angry over other things. I have times of walking in true peace as I get older. I have learned myself well and I press through daily to walk the right path of thoughts. The Bible says, "IN YOUR ANGER DO NOT SIN". That means to be careful with things anger you and let the holy spirit take over your thoughts and actions. Read what the Bibles says:
Ephesians 4:26-31 (NIV)
26 “In your anger do not sin” : Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry,
27 and do not give the devil a foothold.
28 Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, that they may have something to share with those in need.
29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.
ANGER ~ read it again
God knew we would be angry at times because in verse 26, it says: in your anger do not sin.
Life is like a battlefield ~
There are thoughts that constantly run through our minds. We work daily at doing the right thing and still feel defeated. We pray and prayers don't seem to get answered. We hold onto God and often times when we feel we can not, God sends someone into our lives that holds on for us. Each of our lives are different and we face times of doubt. Then fear creeps in our minds and we begin to get troubled over things.
I had someone ask me this, "Is it normal to feel so angry inside"? She recently had her daughter go to Heaven and the sorrow over takes her at times. It is the timing of God that makes us crazy inside and the wonder of it all. Yes, we do get angry and yes God does brings us to connect places with others. It takes time to process death and life. It takes time to allow yourself to grieve over loved ones going to heaven. I feel like I'm an old soul and continues to press forward since I was 18.
Let me pray:
God, I don't know who is going to read this today but you do. I value the their time and I'm asking largely that you help people get through the grief of loved ones. It never goes away but we learn to deal with things in life. We do things different and yet have you (God) the same. I pray for those who need jobs, cars, houses, money and the desires of their hearts to be met. Often times of life can become just a bit hard, but through you God, we can learn to let go of what we can't change. Help those who need to let go of angry, let go. Let us all to understand the plan you have for our lives and change us to become better people and not bitter. AMEN
What makes me different ~
I refuse to give up. I know that God is real and his power is real. I know that sometimes I must lean not to my own understand but God's. I choose to follow the path God has me on and continued to believe that God is greater than yesterdays of life. I am very much human and have thoughts as well. We are different but alike my friends.
My prayers continue for those who read this, your family and friends.
