Proverbs 3:5-8 New International Version (NIV)
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.
7 Do not be wise in your own eyes;
fear the Lord and shun evil.
8 This will bring health to your body
and nourishment to your bones.
YOU HAVE A FRIEND IN ME ~
David found strength in the Lord his God
1 Samuel 30:6 New International Version (NIV)
David was greatly distressed because the men were talking of stoning him; each one was bitter in spirit because of his sons and daughters. But David found strength in the Lord his God.
David was a man after God's own heart. Yet, a man who went through some hard stuff and made mistakes. He knew who his God was to him and he found strength in that. God sent his only son for each of us. Let us walk daily in the freedom of who he created us to be. I am not the person I was in younger years and I have learned to lean on God.
I remember praying for friends who understood me and wanted to keep a real friendship. God gave me that and so much more. I have learned to lead others by example through being real. Life presents some hard stuff and we need each other in life. I have seen how my own choices can make such a difference. Reach out to someone today in kindness. Show them that someone really cares because we never know what someone is going through in life.
LEAN ON ME ~
I have found my strength in the Lord, but I also value real friendships of others. I have heard to have a friend, you must be a friend. Purpose this a good day that God has given you.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
