Joshua 1:1-6 New International Version (NIV)
Joshua Installed as Leader
1 After the death of Moses the servant of the Lord, the Lord said to Joshua son of Nun, Moses’ aide: 2 “Moses my servant is dead. Now then, you and all these people, get ready to cross the Jordan River into the land I am about to give to them—to the Israelites. 3 I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses. 4 Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the great river, the Euphrates—all the Hittite country—to the Mediterranean Sea in the west. 5 No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you. 6 Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them.
GOD'S PLAN ~
Joshua was the lead the people. You can read the complete Chapter of Joshua Chapter 1 for more. My intent today is to show you that God raises people up for purpose. There is something in your life that God wants you to do as well. Following the leadings of God and be strong and courageous too. Maybe it's just to show faith today to someone or hold for someone who is facing extreme change in their lives. There are many broken people walking around and even a smile helps someone.
Life is short and we face a new day that was different than yesterday. Open the Bible and read to plant hope. Open your heart for new beginnings of this day and watch God lead you in ways you never imagined. We face hard stuff but we face good stuff too. My prayers are with those today who just need a positive word of hope. Yes, We can do all things through Christ, but it doesn't mean that it might not be a little hard. Facing the loss of things, loved ones and our normals change. Let the change grow you into a better person and not bitter. Some people will wrong us, talk bad about us, but know who you are in God. You are stronger than you might think and here for a purpose greater than you might know. Find that the strong one inside of you and allow it to grow up better.
God promised Joshua a lot of things and Joshua followed the voice of God. God has promises for you too and you must follow the voice of God. If you don't know the voice of God, it's following the right thing to do and the word of God (Bible). You can do this and be a leader to those around you. People watch out lives and we might not even know it.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
