Job 8:21 New International Version (NIV)
He will yet fill your mouth with laughter
and your lips with shouts of joy.
Sometimes life does bring us sorrow and hard things to deal with. I have learned in trusting God that he has a plan. Yes, even in the hardest things of life, there is a plan. Jeremiah 29:11 speaks of a plan, a promise and a future. Things are changing around us and change is a okay thing. It is in the hardest of time that God brings victory. It is the good times of life, that God continues to shine. Through it all, I've leaned to trust in God and so have you.
One event can help change our mindset.
Last night our church was filled with women who laughed at Dori and her sisters as they presented an amazing time together. It is clear that each sister had her own way of doing things and together they made us laugh even more. The three of them are such a great team. Let's give a should to people who make us laugh and care about our souls! Thank you friends for coming to Hillside during this season of life and recharging us in laughter. I'm looking forward to today and time together.
Genesis 21:6 New International Version (NIV)Sarah said, “God has brought me laughter, and everyone who hears about this will laugh with me.”
LAUGHTER IS NECESSARY ~
It brings the heart joy and through all seasons of life we need to be refreshed daily.
Psalm 52:6-7 New International Version (NIV)
6 The righteous will see and fear;
they will laugh at you, saying,
7 “Here now is the man
who did not make God his stronghold
but trusted in his great wealth
and grew strong by destroying others!”
I hope this day brings you much joy and peace. Just knowing that God is in charge helps my mind to rest. I know that each day brings something different and I know the Lord says the joy of the Lord is our strength. Rest in knowing who you are in life and your life is important. Each one of us brings something different to a group of people. A team is put together of different people, different thinking and a different response. Yet, we are pulled together by God and know that his power is amazing.
My heart goes out to my daughter and her family. Plus all the other families who are beginning new normal. Somedays it's hard to laugh but we find the joy of the Lord in a new day. My prayers continue for you, your family and friends too. I don't know what people are going through in life but I CARE! One reason I write is because I want to share hope and tell you that I know GOD IS ABLE to change things to greater.
