Today marks the retirement of a friend Mrs. Boughner. She is will retiring and plans to come back to help, but have time with her grandchildren. Such an amazing teacher and friend. She loves the kids and helping in her class is like watching a Mr. Rogers TV show. She has a kind soft voice and knows the importance of peace in a classroom. Her words have taught me things while I helped in there. She will be greatly missed on a daily bases. She teachers just deserve a gold star and much more. Thank you for giving all of you to kids.
I have another friend Ms Tinsley who will be leaving too. She is taking a year off to explore some of other things of life. She is an amazing talented person and I'm not sure what's next for her. She paints amazing amazing too. She loves teaching but feels a change for now.
I pray the best for both of my friends leaving the school. I know that God plans unfold and we just never know the depth of our yes to him. It's takes us down roads of change and yet another other teachers will join their team at this school. It has a great principal, office staff, teachers and helps. I see a family when I go to this school. I purpose to volunteer and help where needed. I felt bless to have the time and I can do it. I have learned a lot from many teachers there and love to go back to share time in their classrooms too.
I pray today for parents and adults who watch their loved one graduation high school. It's a big change and kids will always need us. Our prayers matter and make a difference. Never stop praying for those you care about no matter how old they get. Never stop being in the life of those you care about too. I know some people who think it's over when high school is done, but it's truly just the beginning. Our kids need us and our prayers for family is important. Change happens, but it's not the end.
Purpose this a good day and share time with others. Happy graduation to some, happy promotions to others and happy new beginnings to all. Life is short and we need to purpose fun in our lives. Summer brings fun for vacations and time. I know today is hard for many and I care. My prayers are with you, your family and friends. Happy End of school day!
