LAST DAY OF SCHOOL ~
There are tears of change that hits faces
We must stay teachable in life. Read this:
Mark 4:25 Amplified Bible (AMP)For whoever has [a teachable heart], to him more [understanding] will be given; and whoever does not have [a yearning for truth], even what he has will be taken away from him.”
School days are important but so is a break. Teachers need time with family and friends. They don't get paid a lot of money to do what they do. I appreciate their sacrifices to teach kids. Many spend their own money on supplies and on special crafts too. It's more than being just a teacher, but mentor in all levels. Some put on bandages and hug those who are troubled.
Teachers are real people too and need help. If you have time, volunteer at a school and help out. After all, those papers that get sent home are copied by someone, graded and your child is cared for in school. So many changes at the end of school and before you know it, the beginning of the next school year will start.
Teaching doesn't only happen at school. I find myself learning everyday of life and teaching others. We can teach others to be kind by our own example. Yet, remember that people have their own free will too. I hope you will pray for your family and friends daily. Even behind the scenes of life, we don't always know what happens in a person's life. Just like school ending for some, brings so many emotions of what's next. This season does make a difference.
School days remind me of kids being mean, teachers yelling and parents saying go to your room doing homework. School days with my grandchildren is so different. They love school and look forward to going. They have great teachers of their school days and amazing friends too. I see the joy on their faces when they do a report, share in a play or just another day of school. It's not only about learning, but fun. I see a difference in teachers too. Maybe it's because I'm older, but there is so much compassion. I only see a difference when some sub-teachers come in. Some people should never sub-teach, while others are really great sub-teachers.
FINDING YOUR PLACE IN LIFE ~
It can be a bit hard, but when you find it, you find peace. You find that God has given you this life for purpose. Sharing joy daily and living in a land of freedom. I see how Teachers give it all and I only wish parents would speak to them with kind words. I see a lot in volunteering at school and I purpose to make a difference. I am bless to help at an amazing school, great principal, office staff, teachers and helpers. God is good all the time and we should be good all the time back to others. One person's actions can go a long way.
Today, marks the retirement of Willow's Teacher Mrs. Boughner and is one amazing teacher. She is the one parents would want to have and the kids love her. There were tears yesterday and I'm sure today as it ends a season of teacher, but never ends teaching for her. She will come back to help at times, but plans on spending time with her grandchildren too. Life changes and the good ones leave, but good ones comes too. Pray that people will want to teach, because it's certainly not about the money. It's heart felt and that's God connecting lives for sure. I will miss my friend, but will stay connected for sure.
There is another teacher who is leaving for a year. Ms Tinsley and a very talented young woman. I'm sure what this next year will bring, but I believe it's meant. She will be greatly missed as well. She has become my friend too and she was Willow's teacher in Kindergarten. I pray the best for both teachers/freinds. God has a plan and it's beginning to unfold.
Well, it's the end of school in my area which is Napa County. I hope you celebrate with those celebrating a change in a positive way. My prayers are with you, your family and friends. Even though you might have kids or know anyone promoting, you can share happiness of life too. God has create each of us for a bigger person.
