Psalm 90:12-17 New International Version (NIV)
12 Teach us to number our days,
that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
13 Relent, Lord! How long will it be?
    Have compassion on your servants.
14 Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love,
that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.
15 Make us glad for as many days as you have afflicted us,
for as many years as we have seen trouble.
16 May your deeds be shown to your servants,
    your splendor to their children.
17 May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us;
establish the work of our hands for us--
yes, establish the work of our hands.

TEACH ~
God keeps us teachable

When I was in my early 30's, I was talking to an older woman in her 70's about prayer.  She taught me about intercessory prayer.  She told me it was praying on the behalf of someone else.  I can still remember walking into a church and seeing a couple women who were at the altar praying.  I never quite understood that until our talk.  I would listen how they were calling out names and asking God to meet the needs of people.  I found myself becoming teachable and I watched them.  I also watched how they raised their hands and worship in freedom.

I ask God daily to keep me teachable in life.  It's a new day and it's filled with opportunities for change and to allow God to use my life.  We must make time daily to pray and seek God.  I ask God for peace and comfort to those who mourn.  Let us not forget we are still dealing with a virus and praying for those who are terribly sick.

Matthew 7:7-8 New International Version (NIV)
Ask, Seek, Knock
7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

PRAYER MATTERS ~
Prayer changes you, which changing action

God, we don't always know the next step of life.  We turn to you and rest in Jeremiah 29:11.  It speaks of a plan, a promise and a future. This wasn't only for Jeremiah but also us.  Help us to stay teachable in life and help us to press forward in doing what's right.  Often times, we go through hard times or a storm of life which changes us.  That change can be good and we can grow from it.  Help us to grow quickly and live in peace with each other on earth.  God, you created us equal and we should be treated equal in life.  Help us to live by your word and live what is right.  AMEN

Purpose this a good day!
