When we least expect it after a rain, we can look up and see a beautiful rainbow. A promise that God made:
KEEP LOOKING ~
Genesis 9:13-15 New Living Translation
13 I have placed my rainbow in the clouds. It is the sign of my covenant with you and with all the earth. 14 When I send clouds over the earth, the rainbow will appear in the clouds,15 and I will remember my covenant with you and with all living creatures. Never again will the floodwaters destroy all life.
KEEP LOOKING ~
We have also heard that there is a pot of gold at the end the rainbow. I think that pot of gold is the promise that God made to us through the Bible. I do believe their is also a rainbow waiting for each of us. Promises throughout the Bible that God made and we can see some of that reflected in our lives. There are times when we must look up and remind ourselves of God's great love.
Simple things show love and caring. A text message in the year 2015, a telephone call, email or even a smile from a straighter shows kindness. It brings me to this, what's inside of you? Is their joy unspeakable and feel like a rainbow has exploded inside you or doubt plus wonder of it all. Sometimes it good to stop and count blessings of one day. Instead of seeing the clouds that roll by in your life, see the blessings that flow each day. The simple things like getting ready, food to eat, warm shower and the list goes on. We might feel sad when we look at someone's else life and wish we were them. Never wish you were anybody because you don't know the depth of their story.
KEEP LOOKING ~
Be on watch for the day that Jesus comes back. I think he has been coming back so many years that people doubt a little that he will come back and they will go by the grave someday. Entering Heaven is something we just don't know when will happen. The Bible describes what time on earth will look like when Jesus comes back, please read:
Luke 21:25-28 New Living Translation
25 “And there will be strange signs in the sun, moon, and stars. And here on earth the nations will be in turmoil, perplexed by the roaring seas and strange tides. 26 People will be terrified at what they see coming upon the earth, for the powers in the heavens will be shaken. 27 Then everyone will see the Son of Man coming on a cloud with power and great glory. 28 So when all these things begin to happen, stand and look up, for your salvation is near!”
WOW, that's a lot to think about huh. But God still tells us to stand and look up. Your soul matters to God and he wants you to understand his promises. A gentle God who gives us a rainbow of promises, will not forsake you or lead you. Jesus is coming back someday and no person knows that time or day. Until then, we go about our lives and praise a God who loves us. We do our best daily and we give thanks for things we have in life. We learn to balance out the good and the hard.
LOOKING UP ~
Raise those hands in surrender and give praise to a God who loves you. It also helps me see that the sky is painted different every day of life and birds sing for a reason. I love mornings and the peace that I feel in the day before it really becomes busy. A simple quiet is in the air and in my heart. My mind seems to be clear and I can see so many blessings.
I can see the importance of one life and I share from the middle of my heart daily with you. I pray for the readers of my blog and your family/friends. I know that life can through some hard punches and I know that a miracle worker can help in those moments. I have felt defeated and done, then I felt the hand of God move a closed door to him, to an open door of praise. I've been knocked down by words and people, but brought back by grace and mercy who follows me all the days of my life. One simple turn from wrong thinking into right thinking, brings about amazing chances.
Don't give up!
Don't stop believing!
Don't listen the negative voice, but the positive one that brings hope!
Thank you for taking time to read this, to believe big and to move into a new day with peace in your heart. It's all about choices and the plan of God for each of our lives. Jeremiah 29:11 A plan, A promise and A future!
