MOSES HEARD THE VOICE OF GOD
Exodus 24:14-18 (NIV)
14 He said to the elders, “Wait here for us until we come back to you. Aaron and Hur are with you, and anyone involved in a dispute can go to them.”
15 When Moses went up on the mountain, the cloud covered it, 16 and the glory of the Lord settled on Mount Sinai. For six days the cloud covered the mountain, and on the seventh day the Lord called to Moses from within the cloud. 17 To the Israelites the glory of the Lord looked like a consuming fire on top of the mountain.18 Then Moses entered the cloud as he went on up the mountain. And he stayed on the mountain forty days and forty nights.
KEEP CLIMBING ~ We don't have to climb a physical mountain to hear from God, but God spoke to Moses to do it. We can read throughout the Bible it is the alone times when God, when he speaks to us. He gives us words to tell others and some will receive it and others won't. My life becomes a learning tool for me. I can look back and see things I could have done different. Words to speaks and not to speak at times of life. The challenge of balancing so much in life.
Today, there might be a mountain before you. That might be your job, finances, health, a place to live and the list goes on. When looking at the mountain it might only become bigger. Turning it all over to God and allow him to teach you through others example or even their mistakes. We can learn and it's a tool daily for each of us. An open mind to keep God's commandments and live according to what the Bible says to each of us.
As this new day begins, my prayers are with you, your family and friends. Life is about one step at a time and you can do it. God has given your strength and courage to face this new day with hope.
