Philippians 3:14 New International Version (NIV)
I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
I find it important to tell myself to keep looking up. God's plan unfolds daily and my attitude is seen in things I do in life. I was speaking to someone last night that seem to loss their goal. Life isn't about making others completely happy, but working on ourselves for happiness. God does give the desires of our hearts and we can't forget that. Some of my desires when I was younger, changed over Let us be real, some desires just can't be met now. There is a process of change and life just happens. Sometimes prayers don't seem to be answered, but God's timing is perfect.
Have you ever asked a question and you received an answer like this, "just because". It doesn't really answer the question but people say that. When I began to write today, I was thinking about how just because and thought I would write on it.
Just because I show kindness to others, doesn't mean I will receive kindness back. I have found just because I pray for something, I might not get the answer I was looking for in life. Just because I am your friend, doesn't mean I understand everything about you. Just because I have scheduled my day out, it will turn out that way. We can go on and on with the just because statement. We must live knowing God is the answer for all things. We must surrender our thoughts and time to him. Making time to give thanks for all we do have in life. Making time to call someone and say how special they are to us. Living an example of Jesus and pressing forward in life.
ONE DAY ~
2 Peter 3:8 New International Version (NIV)
But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.
Time moves so quickly. One day we have our first birthdays and each year another added number arrives. Each year brings us another closer to the end with Jesus. A time to be born and a time to die. In between those schedule dates by God, we must do all we can to live in today. We must carry an attitude of praise and a grateful heart.
1 Thessalonians 5:28 (NIV)
give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
James 1:27 (NIV)
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
Psalm 28:7 (NIV)
The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.
Just because God loves you, he gives scriptures to live by and people who care about us. Purpose this a good day. My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
