JESUS WHY ~
Little kids wonder why does he love me and where is he? How come he left earth and how can someone I can't see, know me? More questions would come to my young self and I would know those answers until later in life. Even adults who wasn't raised knowing the Bible or about Jesus wonder. So your telling me that Jesus walked this earth and left? Yes, I am telling you that and he left us peace.
John 14:27 New International Version (NIV)
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
Jesus had to go away and he left us peace. Peace of knowing God's word and hearing stories of miracles within the Bible. He was a man who went about doing his father's (God) plan. The plan of telling others of him and walking in a new way of life. This is where John 3:16 comes in.
John 3:16-17 New International Version (NIV)
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
Jesus does not remind us for our mistakes (Sin), but takes them all away. Our surrender to him brings new thoughts and new ways. It doesn't just happen, because we must open the Bible and learn scripture. Learn the stories of the past and hear about stories of now. It is also important to find a Bible based Church. A community of people who share in learning the word of God, but also living it. Not every church is Bible based or carries the correct actions. Purpose to research and know things for yourself.
Psalm 46:1 New International Version (NIV)
God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble.
God is always here and his son (Jesus) continues to have a purpose in our lives. There is a song title, "Jesus Loves Me". It is that song I sing when I feel scared even as an adult. I know his love conquers all and I rest in knowing God is able to handle this day just fine. Their are commandments in the Bible and refreshment to the soul.
Psalm 19:7-8 New International Version (NIV)
7 The law of the Lord is perfect,
refreshing the soul.
The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy,
making wise the simple.
8 The precepts of the Lord are right,
giving joy to the heart.
The commands of the Lord are radiant,
giving light to the eyes
Daily I thank God for my life. I love waking up to a new day and counting blessings. I love time with my Grandchildren and my family plus friends. I love knowing Jesus loves me. Through it all, I have learned to count on the name of Jesus in all times. My prayers continue for you, your family and friends. Purpose this a good day!
