Ecclesiastes 9:11-12 Easy-to-ReadVersion (ERV)
Life Is Not Fair
11 I also saw other things in this life that were not fair. The fastest runner does not always win the race; the strongest soldier does not always win the battle; wise people don’t always get the food; smart people don’t always get the wealth; educated people don’t always get the praise they deserve. When the time comes, bad things can happen to anyone! 12 You never know when hard times will come. Like fish in a net or birds in a snare, people are often trapped by some disaster that suddenly falls on them.

BUT...
I've experienced the power of God and the joy of my salvation!

IT'S NOT FAIR ~

I have said it myself that life isn't always fair, but we have choices what to think about and how we will deal with it.  I remember a younger person talking to me about how lucky I was. It was as if I never was a teenager or a young adult.  I understand being young and I learning more everyday of life. I've been in hard places of life, felt sorrow and sadness much greater than a smile.

BUT....
I've experienced the power of God and the joy of my salvation!

I spoke to someone yesterday that told me she had to stay away from people, because she didn't want to hear what someone might say. We separate ourselves at times from negative people but also the positive people in our lives.  Sometimes we don't want to hear what someone has to say when we feel sad.  Some people often pull away from God too.

SAD FACE ~
I felt I should share today that the sad face can happen in our lives.  We must be careful in being sad because it can lead into deeper thoughts.  I have found myself pulling myself up after negative thoughts and feeling much better.  I read within the Bible many verses of encouragement.  We must reach out to God and others when we feel down, defeated, sad and lonely. It's each of our choices that matter.

Psalm 25:4-5 Easy-to-Read Version (ERV)4 Lord, help me learn your ways.
Show me how you want me to live.
5 Guide me and teach me your truths.
You are my God, my Savior.
You are the one I have been waiting for.

My prayer continue for those who feel sad this morning, those who are doing great and your family/friends.  Every emotion and moments in life are valuable.  You are important and feel the hope of a new day.  Maybe it's not you but you know someone who feels really sad. Reach out of them today and share some hope.
