IT IS NOT FAIR ~
Looking at things around us, we can say it is not fair but it won't change anything
Change comes by people staying home and social distancing. Yet, people continue to join into family events, parties and not wearing mask. You can see this clearly over Facebook people not following the rules. You can also see this on news reports. In California, shelter in place started in March of 2020 and it continues in August of 2020. I find myself saying, somethings are not fair.
IT'S NOT FAIR ~
This season of life does challenge us in many ways. How about we let it challenge us to do our best daily and count blessings of it. Let us pray for others who are sick and going through the hardest times of their lives. I remember being a kid and wanting a certain box of cereal. My mom said no because you only like the picture on the box, but you won't like the cereal. I said, it's not fair that you won't let me try to like it. She quickly said, we don't have the money you for you not to like it. Did I understand that message? No, I just a little kid and didn't understand it at all. We left that store that day and I was saying, "it's not fair". As I am older, I see what she meant, but who knows, she might have been right and it would have been wasted money.
Since growing up, I continue to say at times of life, "it's not fair". What is fair is this, God has created us unique and we can make good choices in life. We can do our best daily in all we do and spread the love of God through our lives. We can speak kind words to others and guard our hearts daily. It's time to not over think things and rest in knowing God is still the one in charge. Our prayers matter and make a difference. Don't give up believing or holding on for a miracle from this virus in life. If you see a need, do you best to help.
Grab a Bible today, a cup of tea, coffee or water. Spend some kinds in reading and planting hope. Jeremiah 29:11 speaks of a plan, a promise and a future. In the natural eye, things looks impossible but in God's word, he says, "All things are possible". Guess what? Somethings in life are not fair, but we must continue to do the right thing in life. Purpose a good day. My prayers continue for you, your family and friends. I also know that sometimes, the miracle is in the process of time.
