IT IS A NEW DAY ~
FILLED WITH GREAT OPPORTUNITIES!
Luke 1:78-80 (NIV)
78 because of the tender mercy of our God,
by which the rising sun will come to us from heaven
79 to shine on those living in darkness
and in the shadow of death,
to guide our feet into the path of peace.”
80 And the child grew and became strong in spirit; and he lived in the wilderness until he appeared publicly to Israel.
STRONG IN SPIRIT ~
We need each other in life. We can inspire someone and they can inspire us. We were never created to be the same, but each owns it's own place in the journey of life. Just like looking out of a window of hope, we can see the beauty that lines outside of one window. It is also important to guard your heart. Even if you do something nice, it can be taken wrong and then you feel like you shouldn't have encouraged that person at all. Make sure you run to God in actions, thoughts and guarding your heart. Doing the right thing, is always right in the eye of God.
Proverbs 18:10 (NIV)
The name of the Lord is a fortified tower, the righteous run to it and are safe.
As a child we learn many things. Some of which is true and things that are not true. I use to believe the old sayings my mom would tell me. For example: If you walk under a ladder, you will have bad luck. If you break a mirror, it is 7 years bad luck. Never step on a crack or you will break your mother's back. The sayings would go into my head and I thought it was true until I became older. As I grew in age and I grew in wisdom of things. Even as an adult, not everything we are told is correct. Find things out for yourself and grow in wisdom.
As a child, I saw things different and I planted a word in my head named, "kindness". I always wanted to be kind and let kindness come back to me. As an adult, it doesn't work that way. I now act in kindness without any expectations of getting kindness back. Some people are just angry at everyone and prayer is the key to action.
Challenge yourself to become a stronger person and living according to the word (Bible). God has greater things ahead and I just know that. I refuse to live in defeat but in the knowledge of greater things ahead. Please know I care and my prayers are with you, your family and friends.
