Matthew 14:22-33 New International Version (NIV)
Jesus Walks on the Water
Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd. 23 After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. Later that night, he was there alone, 24 and the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it.
25 Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. 26 When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,”they said, and cried out in fear.
27 But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”
28 “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.”
29 “Come,” he said.
Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”
31 Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?”
32 And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. 33 Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.”
INSIDE THE BOAT ~ was the disciples who let fear enter their lives. Jesus came to them walking on the water and it seems like they had never seen him walk upon water. Jesus called to Peter to come to him on the water. Peter took his eyes off of Jesus and became afraid. The key to the story is "You of little faith". Why do we doubt when we know Jesus in our own lives? Have you ever thought of that before? We can relate it to this story when a unforeseen circumstance enters our lives.
Sometimes I just get overloaded with life stuff. I start tot make on somethings that I should leave with Jesus. It takes time to process life at times and look through eyes of faith. God has said that he has given us each a measure of faith. I began faith in younger years and my faith has grown over the years. I am determined to see myself the way God does in all areas. I am forgiven and I must believe that. When I think over the negative past, there is times I must stop that thinking! Life hasn't turned out the way I thought or even the way I had hoped, but I am blessed in so many ways.
I am stronger than yesterdays of life and I trust God big that greater is ahead of me. This day belongs to God and his spirit is real. The bible says to come to him ~ Matthew 11:28 (NIV)28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
INSIDE THE BOAT ~ OUTSIDE THE BOAT

Winds will come, change will happen and our faith can grow stronger. Let us learn to become better people and not bitter in this life. Go ahead and trust God beyond limits. Be thankful for what you do have and count some blessings.
