IN THE RAIN ~
It is much needed to water the hills, trees, build up our rivers and the list goes. During the raining season we learn to prepare our selves for rain. Like rain boots, warmer clothes and now they have umbrellas that do not turn inside out. Times have changed and I would like to move this conversation into a spirit one. What happens when the storms of life come and suddenly our lives change. Time to learn scriptures and hold on by God's promises.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 New International Version (NIV)
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
TRUST THE LORD ~
In all seasons of life, God is able
Matthew 5:45 New International Version (NIV)
45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.
PREPARE YOURSELF ~
As I think back on the umbrella example, I think of how things in my life I think I'm prepared for, suddenly I am not. My mind is human and I try to figure things out a bit too much. The Bible speaks of learning not to your own understanding, but God's. When I read the scripture on how God allows the run to rise and the rain for all people. The good and the evil experience some of the same things, but our outcome can be different. God wants us to prosper as his children. He wants us to learn to handle any type of situation of life. In both seasons, good and bad he is able to guide us. Allowing God to take our thoughts and learn from situations with a positive attitude helps.
I heard it said that sometimes you worst enemy is yourself. That's because we don't break out of wrong thinking and give it to God. Giving it God means not to take it back. Once you have been forgiven of sins, it's done. No need to remember it or keep telling God what you don't have in life. How about we give thanks each day of life while going through good seasons or hard seasons.
Today, it is raining outside my house. I heard it raining hard and then it's quiet. I heard it quiet and then it rains hard. I can control the amount of rain that falls, soft or heavy. God is in control and it's a true sign of his power during raining seasons or even feeling the wind. With that said, let us truth him with all our hearts. In all seasons of life and prepare ourselves the best we can for this new day. Share positive words with others, smiles and be kind. Kindness is such a must for me to share daily with you and others I see. My thoughts and prayers are with you, your family and friends right now. Take care, prepare yourself for whatever you are facing today. Put on those rain boots of faith and now that God is able to handle your now of life!
