A psalm of David.
1 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
3 he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
for his name’s sake.
4 Even though I walk
through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
forever.

Psalm 23 brings peace to my soul
I heard last night that my husband's cousin wife is having a stent put into her heart today. I don't know the details but I know that it is scary. I had a heart attack last year and I felt so scared. Her name is Trina and I would ask that you pray for her today. I wrote on Psalm 23 because it brings peace to my soul overtime I read it. I find this scripture for the living and these three verses help me to relax:
1 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters,
3 he refreshes my soul.
God, today I feel to pray for those who are facing hard health issues. Scary times of not knowing the next moment but you do. Asking that you bring your peace to minds and hearts. Health can be scary and the unknown is certainly scary. Asking that all fear goes away and you give words to doctors and nurses today to help people. Please help Trina to stay calm and a great outcome from this surgery. Help her husband as well to rest in knowing you create life and will help her this day. We rest in knowing life and death is not in our hands but yours God. Please help others today too. Restore health and help us to rest in knowing you do help us. Help us to purpose this a good day. AMEN
My prayers continue for the readers of my blog, your family and friends.
