Of David.
In you, Lord my God,
I put my trust.
2 I trust in you;
do not let me be put to shame,
nor let my enemies triumph over me.
3 No one who hopes in you
will ever be put to shame,
but shame will come on those
who are treacherous without cause.
4 Show me your ways, Lord,
teach me your paths.
5 Guide me in your truth and teach me,
for you are God my Savior,
and my hope is in you all day long.
6 Remember, Lord, your great mercy and love,
for they are from of old.
7 Do not remember the sins of my youth
and my rebellious ways;
according to your love remember me,
for you, Lord, are good.
8 Good and upright is the Lord;
therefore he instructs sinners in his ways.
9 He guides the humble in what is right
and teaches them his way.
10 All the ways of the Lord are loving and faithful
toward those who keep the demands of his covenant.
11 For the sake of your name, Lord,
forgive my iniquity, though it is great.
I PUT MY TRUST ~
David wrote this Psalms above and he knew to put his trust in God.
God forgives our sins and restores our souls. God wants to use our lives daily. We often get caught up in what is going on around us and our moments carry us away. Let us not forgive to pray and give thanks. For example: I was going to meet friends for dinner and Ali got us a table that sat us all. I said, "how did you get this table when it's so busy?". She replied, "I prayed". I didn't think to pray for a table and we began to talk about it. Ali told me how she prays for everything and it made me think.
How about you, do you pray over things before you go? Even going out of our house daily, we should pray safety for ourselves and others. We should pray for divine connects with others. Asking God to guide us to be good examples daily to others too.
I like what David said about in verse 9 ~ He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way. 10 ~ All the ways of the Lord are loving and faithful toward those who keep the demands of his covenant.
God has a plan for us and it is found within the Bible. A way of kindness, love, grace, mercy, and the list goes on. Difficult times hits us at times of life and if we know to lean on God, it's so much easier. A pray, stirring our faith and holding on for a greater day.
Isaiah 40:31 New International Version (NIV)
31 but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends. Thank you for taking time to read this and pass it on to your family and friends. Have a great new day!
