but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
In life, there will be days that are sad and a smile feels a million miles away. I been through a lot in life and I have found just receiving a text message or call makes a difference. I often say to pray for the strongest person you know because you don't know the other side of their smile. Life hits us all with seasons of change, sadness, troubles, sorrows, but also smiles, joy, and happy days.
I was leading a prayer service on Thursday and I spoke this, nobody knows what we have been through. You see the happy person now, but what about their beginning after a very hurtful season. If younger people would listen to some older people who have been through, then their season of sadness could be easier. I never tell anyone what to do, but just give them things to think about in life. I've seen a lot and I know God is able to handle our days with peace.
PEACE ~
John 16:29-33 New International Version (NIV)
29 Then Jesus’ disciples said, “Now you are speaking clearly and without figures of speech.30 Now we can see that you know all things and that you do not even need to have anyone ask you questions. This makes us believe that you came from God.”
31 “Do you now believe?” Jesus replied. 32 “A time is coming and in fact has come when you will be scattered, each to your own home. You will leave me all alone. Yet I am not alone, for my Father is with me.
33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
PEACE ~
Jesus knew their would be change. He went about sharing the love from God and the story of life after. I think it's important that we realize there is a life after earth. Asking God into your heart and living free from negative thoughts and turning your thoughts to the Bible. I have said in the past about church, but I realize that not every church teaches the Bible. Be careful who you listen to and what you believe. Open the book (Bible) for yourself and read.
I had such a season of brokenness in my life and I needed the example of someone else to help me. I needed to see past the words spoken that were wrong to me and see that Jesus was there all the time. It's important we focus on the right things in life. The devil goes about to rob us from freedom of living in God's peace and happiness. A smile might seem like a million miles away but it's right here. God wants our hearts to be happy and live in freedom. Negative things can dry our spirit and we become sick inside. If you could only see who important you are and your example to others. Look into the mirror and speak some life words today. For example:
1. This is going to be a good day!
2. I am a good person
3. I am free to live in peace of mind
4. I am loved by God and I know it
5. I am confident of this: Philippians 1:6 New International Version (NIV)being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
I know life can be hard, but it can be great too. Give thanks for a new day and all you do have in life. My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
