Psalm 23 New International Version (NIV)
A psalm of David.
1 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
3 he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
for his name’s sake.
4 Even though I walk
through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
I KNOW THIS ~
God refreshes my soul
Throughout life, we will have times that does not make sense. I used to think that the 23rd Psalm was only read at a funeral (life celebration service). Then I read this chapter again and found it for the living. I remind myself that goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life. Finding a trust in God and leaning to him for daily help. God restores my soul.
I KNOW THIS ~
The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
My will in life, becomes about his will for my life. God is good and faithful to keep his promises. Throughout the Bible are stories and promises. Time that old God can give and we can give back. There is too much to gain in one day than to loose in wrong decisions. Purpose today a good day filled with a good attitude. Praise is what the Lord loves to hear.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
