For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
JESUS LOVES ME ~ I KNOW THIS!
1 Corinthians 13:4-13 New International Version (NIV)
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
I KNOW THIS ~
JESUS LOVES ME
Waking up to a new day and believing bigger than yesterday. I know that troubles come our ways and times of questions run through our minds. The bigger wonder of why and what is next arrives. Yet, I know that Jesus loves me and he has gone to prepare a way out. A life surrendered to God is one of trust and love. I can't explain the why of somethings of life, but I trust that God gives us free will and our choices matter. I can't say that enough today, because God gets blamed for a lot of things in life and our very own free choice gets us there, not God. Think about that for a moment.
I have learned to get past the things I can not change! Then I have learned to live in today and deal with my own thoughts the right way. There truly can be a battlefield of your own mind and the great wonder of life. Processing change takes time! Let me say that again, processing change takes time! Don't be hard on yourself that your are not perfect because none of us are perfect. Time changes things and prayer changes you. As you draw close to God, your thinking and action pattern will change. The view of things of life can suddenly change and you feel the peace of God. Let us live in today and count blessings of life.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
