I wasn't going to change anyone else, but I needed a life changing experience. I started out serving God about 19 years old, but I left him along the way. So many hurts, disappointments, my own failures and life issues. One day, I cried out to God and he heard me! I also realized, I was looking at things wrong in life. A new beginning means leaving something alone, trashing them and pressing forward.
Psalm 143:1-6 New International Version (NIV)
A psalm of David.
1 Lord, hear my prayer,
listen to my cry for mercy;
in your faithfulness and righteousness
come to my relief.
2 Do not bring your servant into judgment,
for no one living is righteous before you.
3 The enemy pursues me,
he crushes me to the ground;
he makes me dwell in the darkness
like those long dead.
4 So my spirit grows faint within me;
my heart within me is dismayed.
5 I remember the days of long ago;
I meditate on all your works
and consider what your hands have done.
6 I spread out my hands to you;
I thirst for you like a parched land.
I HEARD YOUR CRY ~
Sometimes in life, we get into places we never imagined. We wonder how this could happen and maybe even blame God. It wasn't God at all but he gave us free will to live our lives. We ask forgiveness and wonder if God really hears our cry for help. I'm hear today to share that God does hear you and he does care. Each of us have made our own mistakes in life and needing to forgive ourselves.
The devil has no room in your heart and he doesn't belong there. When God came in, he stayed. If you strayed from him, that is your choice but he is ready to have you back! He wants all of us and wants to use our lives in a new way. Even after we surrender our will to his plan, we find ourselves wondering around waiting on prayers to be answered. We learn to stand stronger today than yesterday.
Psalm 147:3-5 New International Version (NIV)
3 He heals the brokenhearted
and binds up their wounds.
4 He determines the number of the stars
and calls them each by name.
5 Great is our Lord and mighty in power;
his understanding has no limit.
YES, God hears you! Keep pressing forward and doing the right thing in life. Maybe life's choices wasn't your choice, but someone else's choice that affects you. Even in that, God hears your heart and wants the best for each of you. I have learned to let go of what I can not change and make the best of it. Spreading hope is so important and spreading hope to yourself you. I always think this, "What if it were me, how would I like people to react"? Then I react that way before saying the wrong thing. Each of us have done something wrong in life, because the Bible says we have all sinned. Each of us have a choice to make things happen right as well.
GOD HEALS THE BROKENHEARTED ~ HE HEARS YOU
Keep the faith and keep pressing forward. It's a new day!
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
