For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
I HAVE A PLAN ~
God has a plan........
John 15:1-8 New International Version (NIV)
The Vine and the Branches
15 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. 3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.
5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. 7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.
I HAVE A PLAN ~
I heard a message as a teenager that changed my life. 1 Corinthians Chapter 13 tells a story of love. I took time to read it and learn how God's love remains, but we need to love one another too.
1 Corinthians 13 New International Version (NIV)
If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.
Inside the Bible are stories of lives and people who helped changed history by their actions. Living a life of kindness works and determination to do the right thing matters. How about you? Do you take time to read the Bible and learn of God's plan? Do you count blessings daily or just end the day being glad it's over? I never want to live a day without giving God thanks and living the best life I can. Daily we have too much to gain than to loose. Over the years, I have grown into a better person and learn to spur one another on in life. One day holds so much purpose and promise for each of us.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
