Joshua 1:6-9 New International Version (NIV)
6 Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them.
7 “Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. 8 Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips;meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. 9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
DO NOT BE AFRAID ~
2 Timothy 1:7 New International Version (NIV)
For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
As we look at circumstances of life, we can lean into a positive mindset or a defeated mindset. Some people are ready to quit things in life, rather than fighting through to victory. We have too much to gain in life to quick doing the right things. Each of us are leaders in our way according to God. He has called you, purpose your now and gives free will.
As Mother Day is over, yesterday brought much pain to many people. I talked with some who just barely made it through the day. I talked with some who had the best day ever. Such a day full of emotions, memories and even new beginnings. I think a day with a title shows us what we do have in life or don't have in life. Sometimes that is both sides but can still be hard. I found myself thankful I had my family and friends around me. Yet, there was a huge missing link. God is faithful to help us through a day with mixed emotions too.
I HAVE A CHOICE ~
I choose to live for God and purpose my mindset positive. I allow myself time to grieve and breath through hard things. My life isn't perfect, I have wants and dreams inside of me. I allow myself freedom to let God mold me. One day at a time and one moment by moment. Learning to live in today and plan for tomorrow.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
