Along the journey of life, we will need to remind ourselves at times of God's peace, that he gave us. It's a daily choice to live in peace or stress of the day. So many little things can frustrate a person and it takes us off that road of peace. God said in John 14:27 "let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid". If we could remind ourselves of God's words before an action takes place on our part. After all, we are human and need to think before we speak or reaction on somethings in life.
Psalm 29:11 New International Version (NIV)
The Lord gives strength to his people;
the Lord blesses his people with peace.
We can read throughout the Bible, scriptures of peace. Scriptures of how God gave us peace. We have the ability to grab onto that and live in peace. There will be things that pull us away from peace but we have that choice to go back to peace. Our daily choices matter more than you might realize. There are so many blessings in one day.
1 Peter 3:9-11 New International Version (NIV)
Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.
10 For, “Whoever would love life
and see good days
must keep their tongue from evil
and their lips from deceitful speech.
11 They must turn from evil and do good;
they must seek peace and pursue it.
Continue to count blessings as this new day begins. Allow God to mold you and know where your strength comes from daily. God has a plan and it unfolds for each of us daily. Remember that peace is here, but you must turn your thoughts to it.
John 14:27 New International Version (NIV)Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
